The All Seeing Eye Cushion

A handmade textile artwork exploring intuition, awareness and the feeling of being watched over.

At the heart of The All Seeing Eye sits a single, unblinking eye — surrounded by radiating lines and fragments of coloured fabric that create a sun-like halo.

The eye has long been used as a symbol of awareness and intuition. Here, it represents that quiet inner sense that tells us to pay attention — to what surrounds us, to what we feel, and to what we might otherwise overlook.

The radiating lines give the piece an almost celestial quality, while the contrasting fabric fragments add movement, colour and a sense of playful imperfection.

The entire design has been drawn, cut, appliquéd and embroidered by hand, making each cushion completely unique. The visible stitching, frayed edges and variations in the fabric are intentional — celebrating the imperfections and individuality of handmade objects.

Made from repurposed and carefully selected textiles, The All Seeing Eye sits somewhere between functional object and textile artwork. Designed to bring a little intrigue, character and symbolism to a favourite chair, sofa or bed.
